About The Position

TCS is seeking an entry-level Logistics and Program Support Specialist to join our Munitions Acquisition team at NSWC Crane. This role provides critical support to U.S. Marine Corps and Naval Special Warfare programs by managing program documentation, tracking procurement actions, and supporting logistics coordination across government teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable using digital systems to support acquisition activities. This position works closely with engineers, acquisition managers, and other stakeholders to maintain accurate records, track project milestones, and support effective program execution.

Requirements

  • High School diploma required; associate degree, technical training, or prior military experience a plus.
  • Prior experience in logistics, office administration, or government contracting support is helpful but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with databases or document systems is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with both government and contractor teams.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • Willingness to learn, take initiative, and support a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and logistics support to government program managers.
  • Organize, upload, archive, and manage technical and contractual documents using systems such as CORP, Doc Imaging, SharePoint, and shared drives.
  • Track and update procurement actions including requests, modifications, and awards using Microsoft Excel and other tracking tools.
  • Review program documentation (e.g., memos, funding forms, engineering change documents, test reports), identifying errors or missing data and ensuring proper routing and version control.
  • Maintain spreadsheets, reports, and dashboards to support meetings and status updates.
  • Attend recurring team meetings to gather updates and ensure alignment on project milestones and priorities.
  • Communicate with government and contractor personnel to exchange program information and updates.
  • Respond to internal and external data calls with accuracy and efficiency, often under tight deadlines.
  • Assist in training team members on document handling and program tracking procedures as needed.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards, policies, and material handling procedures.
