About The Position

The Program Therapist is responsible for providing individual and group therapy for assigned youth according to their individual needs and treatment plans. The Program Therapist will ensure stability and healthy developmental through collaboration with program team and related services of program.

Requirements

Ability to manage emotional situations in a calm and professional manner
Excellent organization and planning
Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software
Observes all policies and procedures on confidentiality of information
Master’s degree in a related mental health field (i.e. Social Work, Counseling, Psychology)
Must have LAC or LSW

Responsibilities

Provides therapeutic interventions to the identified client in order to enhance and foster the client's optimal functioning
Conduct intake assessments with client and family members utilizing appropriate intake materials and continually assesses client needs, service availability and appropriateness
Responsible for maintaining and managing all clinical and clerical requirements of the patient's chart and verifies client's insurance to ensure coverage and appropriate billing
Participates in case consultation with Clinical Director for high risk or challenging cases
Provides therapeutic interventions to the identified client in order to enhance and foster the client's optimal functioning and interactions in the home and community
