For more information, please visit our website at: https://glenoakshospital.com/ The Outpatient Therapist performs social services functions in the Outpatient Department to include assisting patients in meeting their biopsychosocial needs while enabling them to access through therapeutic treatment skills to achieve their optimal level of emotional health, including providing group therapy, case management, crisis intervention, utilization review, discharge planning, providing information and referrals as needed, and other duties related to delivering a successful program. Position Hours: Day shift, 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, or related field required.
  • Three years clinical experience preferred.
  • Previous expierence in IOP and with group therapy preferred.
  • LMSW, LPC, LMFT or equivalent licensure required.
  • CPR certification and training in appropriate use of Handle with Care (HWC) and Verbal De-escalation prior to on-the-job training.
