To assist the Residential Enrichment Program Manager in the daily operations of Disability Supports Residential Enrichment Program and to act on the Program Managers behalf as assigned. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Implement Person Centered Support Plans for those we serve. On-site supervision to Direct Support Professionals. Be available for evening/overnight hours, providing coverage when needed, primarily 4pm-12am. Attend assigned meetings when needed. Work with Program Manager to ensure staff are attending required training. Be on call as needed and assigned by Program Manager to cover open shifts. Must be available for client emergencies. Responsible to transport individuals served when necessary. Assist Client Wellness Liaison with coordination of medical and pharmaceutical needs of individuals served, if needed. Complete documentation and reporting as required and assigned. Other duties as assigned. Expectations: Prompt, consistent attendance is an essential function of this position. Understand and support the mission statement of Disability Supports to enrich the lives of those we serve, as evidenced by an unfailing positive attitude in all actions on behalf of persons served. Strong critical thinking skills, along with proper understanding of day-to-day operations, in order to make assignments and coordinate efficiently. Timeliness in completion of assigned tasks. Maintain an active and positive role in identifying and seeking solutions for all issues surrounding persons served while maintaining strict adherence to company policy and confidentiality regarding staff and/or clients, including health, employment and policy errors. Adhere to scheduled hours. Perform well under pressure and remain calm/professional. Communicate well with other team members. Work well in a team setting. QualificationsKnowledge and Skills: Experience: 2 years prior experience working with persons with developmental disabilities or caregiving preferred Education: High School diploma/equivalent required. Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills required. Ethical decision making skills required. Other Skills: Basic mathematical and intermediate computer skills required. Must have valid drivers license and evidence of insurability. Physical/Environmental: Ability to lift more than 35 pounds. Ability to push and/or pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Noise level may vary, depending upon duties assigned. Due to the potential intimate nature of care and physical proximity involved with some of those receiving HCBS funded I/DD services through Disability Supports, and in order to promote a safe work environment for both the caregiver and those for whom we care, you may, from time-to-time, be required to wear PPE, (Personal Protective Equipment). If PPE is required, Disability Supports will provide it.
