The Program Support Facilities Aide II is responsible for assisting with facility rentals and the planning and implementation of activities for participants in the Community Services Programs. This role involves working under the direction of the Program Superintendent or designee, ensuring that facilities are prepared for various events and activities, and providing support to senior programs.

  • Perform set-up and breakdown of various rooms in the facility for multiple uses.
  • Assist in set-up and break-down of furniture for events, both indoor and outdoor.
  • Work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, to accommodate various events.
  • Set up staging, tables, chairs, and decorations for events and meetings as required.
  • Report all safety hazards to the immediate supervisor.
  • Complete required paperwork accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with the public and assist with other departmental duties.
  • Clean required areas of facilities, including trash removal and custodial activities.
  • Manage morning kitchen programs for seniors, including making refreshments and maintaining inventory.
  • Assist senior center staff in tasks needed to institute successful programs.
  • Facilitate programs and activities for seniors and the community under supervision.
  • Ensure security of the building during facility rentals.
  • Run errands and pick up supplies needed for activities.
  • Answer phones and perform clerical tasks as needed.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • One year of experience in facility rental and community services programming or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Possess a valid state driver's license.
  • Bi-lingual
