What You Will Do: Ensure flow down of product requirements both internally and to sub-tier suppliers through PO requirements, Quality Notes, and statement of works. Interpreting these requirements to ensure supply base both understands and complies with these quality requirements. Interpret quality requirements (Q-Notes) and make decisions on Q-Note application to procured production parts Perform on-site Source Surveillance and Corrective Action reviews Participate in design reviews, process change reviews, qualification test reviews, as well as Test Equipment verification and validation Drive continuous product / process improvements of our supply base by identifying supplier risk & systemic performance issues and driving solutions through various tools/methodologies including: Root Cause Corrective Actions, Statistical/analytical improvement tools such as Six Sigma and Lean Methodologies. Facilitate closed loop process controls and continuous improvement methods to improve product/process quality Facilitate Program Reviews, Supplier Reviews, and Technical Interchange Meetings Perform Supplier factory process walks and factory risk assessments Perform reviews of supplier manufacturing instructions and processes to mitigate escape risk Application of APQP processes related to supplier performance and implementation of necessary engagements to improve supplier manufacturing processes. Represent quality during review boards covering changes to: supplier designs, process changes, qualification tests, and procedure reviews. Review Internal TDP change requests, Supplier change requests, and Supplier Statements of Work Contribute in the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure supplier quality performance Communicate effectively to Raytheon leadership and customers through business reviews and status meetings. Ability to travel as required by program needs. Can anticipate some travel (Up to 50%) to support supplier assessments, audits, reviews. The PSQE represents Raytheon professionally and supports RTX Vision, Values, Strategy and Goals as our Quality representative. What You Will Learn: Managing complex supplier base in variety of fields (Electrical, Mechanical, energetic, etc) Expand APQP knowledge and experience Engagement with critical external stakeholders i.e. DCMA. What We Offer The position primarily interfaces with the program team in the Tucson, AZ area in onsite role. Travel expectations include domestic travel with potential international travel as an expected part of this role (anticipated less than 50%). The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
