About The Position

In collaboration with the leadership team at Rising Cedar Apartments, the Program Supervisor supports the staff, clients, and operations. Rising Cedar Apartments is a supportive housing program providing integrated commuity supports (ICS) services to 40 residents.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting clients with mental illness required; experience supporting clients with co-occurring disorders preferred
  • Experience supervising staff required; experience supervising 24/7 staff preferred
  • Experience working in a residential setting strongly preferred
  • Experience working with integrated community supports (ICS) licensing requirements strongly preferred
  • Must be able to perform the duties completed by Resident Support Specialists
  • Must be available to support staff working a variety of shifts and to provide coverage as needed

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a member of the leadership team at Rising Cedar Apartments and at Touchstone Mental Health
  • Supervises a team of Resident Support Specialists, who work evenings, overnights and weekends 
  • Provides regular supervision, recognition, guidance, and direction to staff
  • Schedules staff for shifts and adjusts schedules due to staff absences in compliance with program requirements 
  • Interviews, hires, and trains new employees and completes performance reviews for all employees
  • Addresses staff issues in coordination with the Program Director and human resources
  • Provides leadership, direction, and support to all program staff when clients are in crisis
  • Ensures staff are meeting expectations related to program policies and procedures
  • Ensures staff establish supportive and motivational relationships with clients
  • Ensures staff provide individual rehabilitation supportive services and document services provided
  • Ensures staff administer medications following program guidelines
  • Ensures staff complete daily summaries documentation, attend crossover meetings, and clinical consults receive information from team meetings
  • Addresses building needs and issues in collaboration with the Maintenance Technician and outside contractors
  • Attend program leadership meetings and agency leadership meetings
  • Serve on focus groups, committees, and/or one-time projects that support the program and agency operations
  • Demonstrates a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion with residents and staff
