About The Position

Join Our Team as a Program Supervisor! Are you passionate about supporting diverse populations, and making a real difference in their lives? EAC Network, a leading not-for-profit social service agency dedicated to helping over 80,000 people through 100 impactful programs across Long Island and NYC, is looking for a dedicated full time Program Supervisor to join the Nassau County Family Treatment Court program. Wage: $68,000 per year Schedule: 9AM-5PM, Monday- Friday Location: 101 County Seat Drive in Mineola NY Primary Purpose Of This Job: The Program Supervisor is responsible for Court Liaison, assessment and referral of substance abusing clients involved in Family Court into appropriate treatment programs. The Program Supervisor is also responsible for daily program operations.

Requirements

  • CASAC/Other QHP (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC) required.
  • Minimum of two years of treatment experience in addiction services are required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (oral and written) and organizational skills required.
  • Must have current knowledge of local treatment and Court systems.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with treatment and Family Court System.
  • Must have access to automobile and possess valid NY State Driver’s License.
  • Must be proficient in computer applications or other automated systems such as spreadsheets, Microsoft Office applications, calendar, email and/or database software necessary to perform work assignments.

  • Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Act as liaison to the Family Court System.
  • Conduct screening and assessment interviews and arrange for client to be placed in appropriate treatment program and provide trauma informed case management.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with officials, funding agencies and community-based agencies and services for assigned programs.
  • Maintain complete client records.
  • Supervise assigned staff in areas of case management and assessment.
  • Assist with presentations, liaison with officials and facilitate public education activities.
  • Prepare and present written status reports to the Family Court System regarding client's progress.
  • Investigate and arrange supportive services for clients.
  • Supervise data collection and generation of reports.
  • Escort clients to treatment facilities when indicated transporting in own vehicle if necessary.
  • Maintain a caseload of substance abusing clients if needed.
  • Complete all evidence-based assessments for appropriate assessment on clients
  • Make visits to treatment agencies as needed.
  • Identify and link clients to supportive services.
  • Have understanding of and refer to internal EAC programs, such as New Path, Health Home, CASA, Supervised Visitation among others.
  • Recruit, train supervise and provide oversight of interns/externs.
  • Conduct urine, breath and hair follicle testing, maintain appropriate documentation and submit findings to court.
  • Install, monitor and maintain secure remote alcohol monitoring devices and submit findings to the court.
  • Customarily and regular exercise discretionary powers.
  • Track and monitor all grant monies involved in the program and submit for re-imbursement.
  • Perform all other relevant duties as determined by Supervisor and EAC NETWORK Administration.
