About The Position

Join Our Team as a Program Supervisor! Are you passionate about supporting Behavioral Health & Justice Involved Populations and making a real difference in their lives? EAC Network, a leading not-for-profit social service agency dedicated to helping over 80,000 people through 100 impactful programs across Long Island and NYC, is looking for a dedicated full time Program Supervisor to join our Nassau Supervised Visitation program in Hempstead, NY. Salary: $66,300 per year Schedule: Tues-Friday 12pm to 8 PM and Saturdays 8am to 4 pm ET Location: 175 Fulton Ave in Hempstead NY What drives the core purpose of this job: The Program Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of the Nassau Supervised Visitation Program, including Justice for Families, Family Treatment Court Supervised Visitation, and Therapeutic Supervised Visitation and Exchange services. These programs provide parents who may present a risk to their child with the opportunity to have parenting time safely monitored by an appropriate, neutral party in a secure and supportive setting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in social work or related field, e.g., psychology, sociology and/or counseling, with a minimum of two years' experience working with children and families preferred.
  • In lieu of a four-year degree, candidates with a minimum of five years' experience working with children and families who have been impacted by trauma and/or high conflict custody and visitation may be considered.
  • Must have knowledge of Family Court system and family violence issues and resources.
  • Must have flexibility for evening and or weekend hours/days required.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications or other automated systems such as spreadsheets, Microsoft Office applications, calendar, and email and/or database software necessary to perform work assignments.
  • Must have access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, review, and acknowledge court orders appointing EAC Network as a service provider for supervised visits.
  • Communicate with all involved parties to ensure services are delivered in compliance with court orders, program protocols, and safety standards.
  • Monitor program schedules, caseload, staffing coverage, and service delivery locations.
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new program staff.
  • Provide direct supervision and support to program staff and interns.
  • Supervise evenings and weekend visitation period and ensure safety of visits on an on-going basis.
  • Ensure accurate and detailed case notes are completed upon completion of each visit.
  • Utilize software to track referrals, visitation schedule plans and program statistics.
  • Provide on-site direction toward the attainment of established program goals and ensuring program adheres to the Guiding Principles of Safe Havens, Supervised Visitation and Safe Exchange standards.
  • Support outreach efforts and community education related to supervised visitation services
  • Provide program statistics required by EAC NETWORK funding sources.
  • Submit case relevant court reports to referring Judges.
  • Coordinate with other service providers to ensure a continuum of services are provided to program participants.
  • Collaborate with Division Director to develop and implement new systems and policies necessary to enhance program operations.
  • Perform all other relevant duties as determined by Supervision and EAC NETWORK Administration.
