JOB SUMMARY Performs highly complex administrative and supervisory program work. Work involves establishing program goals and objectives; developing program guidelines, policies, and procedures; developing schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving program goals; evaluating program activities; developing and evaluating budget requests; coordinating program activities; and supervising the work of others. Works under limited supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS A. Oversees administrative activities in the Division Director’s office; develops and implements policies, procedures, rules, and regulations and modifies procedures to meet legislative and operating needs; and interprets and ensures compliance with agency policies and procedures and federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations. B. Oversees, coordinates, plans, and schedules quarterly meetings; prepares and reviews minutes and special reports; and oversees the preparation, evaluation, and administration of the website. C. Establishes and maintains liaison with agency staff, other agencies and organizations, legislative staff, and the public; and interprets requests for information and prepares recommendations and proposed responses. D. Supervises the work of others; and provides technical assistance in the program area. Performs a variety of marginal duties not listed, to be determined and assigned as needed.
