About The Position

The Program Supervisor Overnight is responsible for the overall management of community residential service locations, ensuring compliance with quality standards and effective operations. This role involves supervising staff, overseeing medication administration, managing budgets, and maintaining documentation, all while ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals served.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in business or human service field preferred.
  • Two years of previous experience in residential programs for people with disabilities.
  • One year of supervisory and/or management experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel is helpful.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in work schedules and assignments.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to provide effective feedback, train, and delegate job assignments.
  • Ability to assess and address job performance appropriately.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in community service programs.
  • Knowledge of state regulations regarding residential services.

Responsibilities

  • Interview and hire staff to build a team focused on Individual Support Plan (ISP) outcomes.
  • Provide timely feedback on job performance of Life Skill Associates (LSAs) and Lead LSAs.
  • Ensure compliance with training and credentialing requirements for assigned personnel.
  • Provide ongoing guidance regarding daily care and safety of persons served.
  • Ensure sites operate in accordance with quality standards and state licensing requirements.
  • Communicate operational needs to the Program Manager.
  • Direct and oversee LSA staff in medication administration and documentation.
  • Manage petty cash and food purchasing for balanced nutrition.
  • Oversee laundering and upkeep of individuals' clothing and personal property.
  • Plan and execute community outings with the Program Manager.
  • Implement care plans toward individual outcomes and support basic needs.
  • Schedule and transport individuals to medical appointments.
  • Comply with budgetary constraints and manage petty cash reconciliation.
  • Complete timekeeping activities for all assigned staff.
  • Act as liaison to the community and families in the absence of the Program Manager.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of the ISP.
  • Maintain all required documentation and reports for the program site.
  • Aid in resolving problematic situations for persons served.
  • Maintain adequate medications inventory levels.
  • Participate in the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) process.
  • Serve as the first point of contact during assigned shifts for emergencies.
  • Ensure proper staffing levels and work distribution within the program site.
  • Document and report performance-related issues as needed.
  • Complete required trainings to become a medication practicum observer.
  • Provide on-call coverage as needed.
  • Perform CPR, medication administration, and crisis intervention techniques.
