About The Position

The New York City Scholars (NYCS) Program is a unique opportunity for first-year students at Northeastern University. Students will study at our partner institution Marymount Manhattan College during the Fall and Spring semesters of their first year and enter Northeastern University Boston in the Fall semester of their second year. Partner universities provide academic courses to the participants while Northeastern University Global Network First Year Program and Student Life staff provide on-site leadership and support services. With supervision from the Associate Director of Global Network First Year Programs, the Program Supervisor role is a year-round, full-time, benefits-eligible position that requires the person in this role to live on-site with students. During the extended academic year (summer, fall, and spring), this individual will live on-site and oversee the operations for the NYCS Program location leading up to and through the fall and spring semesters with some remote work during parts of the summer. The Program Supervisor will work with Student Life and other campus partners on special projects and specific goals to ensure student and programmatic success. Individuals will work non-traditional hours, including some evenings and weekends, supporting student programming and attending to the safety and well-being of students and staff. They will also serve on an on-call rotation while on location.
