The Risk Manager performs highly complex (senior level) administrative and supervisory program work related to Risk Management. Work involves directing the identification, development, implementation, and evaluation of risk management loss control programs and guidelines. Work involves reviewing, evaluating, inspecting, developing, and implementing a comprehensive risk management program which identifies risk exposures, analyzes their causes and impact, and develops appropriate strategies for avoiding and/or reducing potential losses. Supervises the Safety Officer, and Video Surveillance and Security personnel. May train others. Works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
