Program Supervisor (DSP Lead Staff) Group Home Location: North Hills, CA Pay: Annual salary $43,490 per year (eligible for overtime) As a mission-driven organization, we are intensely focused on expanding access to services and developing new and more effective ways of delivering supports and services to individuals we serve. Join our team as a Program Supervisor (also known as DSP Lead Staff) in one of our group homes for adults with developmental disabilities. These homes are specialized facilities for individuals with history of behavioral challenges.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • One year of experience working directly with adults with developmental disabilities in a group home setting
  • Experience working with individuals with aggressive behaviors and behavior management needs
  • Must have DSP Year 1 and DSP Year 2 certifications completed
  • Current CA driver's license in good standing
  • Access to a reliable vehicle and provide proof of registration and insurance coverage
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task to meet deadlines
  • Effective communication skills to manage relationships, and a reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach
  • Flexible availability is required - this position has a set schedule but may need to adjust schedule to assist with coverage as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with supervision of staff (official role as a supervisor)
  • ARF Administrator certification is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Manage services within a designated program, including site operations, case management, and implementation of individual service plans
  • Supervise/coordinate the daily activities of Direct Care Staff, maintain schedules of Direct Care Staff, and oversee the day-to-day operation of the program
  • Deliver direct care services and support to assigned individuals we serve on an ongoing basis
  • Provide input and feedback in hiring, corrective action, performance evaluations, and termination decisions
  • Ensure onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training is delivered
  • Perform safety drills and assist with compliance management for state regulations and company policies
  • Assist Program Director (Administrator) with ongoing tasks as assigned.
