If you have school-age childcare programming experience and enjoy teaching young minds, Associated Recreation Council (ARC) has a role for you as a Childcare Program Substitute. ARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, serves Seattle by offering access to licensed childcare and a variety of recreational and lifelong learning programs, classes, and activities. As the Childcare Program Substitute, it will be your responsibility to provide staffing support for ARCs licensed school-age and preschool programs at multiple locations, offering a high-quality child-care experience for children ages 3-12 according to the philosophies, policies, and procedures of the organization. This role report to the Area Operations Supervisor. Must demonstrate the ability to always maintain confidentiality, handle personnel matters effectively, and handle employee and public personnel inquiries with sensitivity, tact and diplomacy. Understanding of, sensitivity to and respect for the diverse populations at ARC and the community ARC serves.
