About The Position

Sev1Tech is searching for a Program Strategy Manager with experience in program management, systems engineering, and mission operations. The Program Strategy Manager will support the planning, implementation, operation, and improvement of meshONE-Terrestrial (T), a scalable, resilient, cyber‐secure data transport network supporting United States Space Force (USSF) and Air Force (USAF) missions. meshONE‐T is the ground component of the larger meshONE concept and will eventually integrate with the Air and Space components of meshONE to provide an end‐to‐end network solution across all mediums, environments, and warfighting domains. Overview/Job responsibilities: Manage the development of program strategies while collaborating with network architects, network engineers, IT specialists, cybersecurity engineers, software engineers, systems engineers, and systems administrators Provide program management expertise and advisement to the meshONE-T Executive Program Manager and participate in a collaborative process to optimize program cost/schedule/performance and to maximize program growth Work directly with meshONE-T Service Strategy and Service Design personnel to communicate new solutions to mission partners effectively Understand the Mission Partner landscape Explore opportunities to improve meshONE-T technical, cost, and schedule performance, and present findings in customer meetings Coordinate with government customers to identify growth opportunities and align programmatic expectations with potential technical capabilities and/or improvements Determine programmatic outcomes of new and revised contract requirements levied by the government customer Develop and interpret program management policies and provide authoritative advice to Space Systems Command (SSC) leadership, resulting in the formulation and execution of comprehensive programs that meet mission objectives

Requirements

  • Minimum of twelve (12) years of applicable experience listed in the roles above
  • Work experience supporting SSC, in multiple mission areas
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other similar degree
  • PMP certification, or obtain a PMP certification within 12 months of employment
  • Experience managing complex IT enterprise network projects and/or programs
  • Strong oral and written skills able to talk with technical subject matter experts, government civilians, and military personnel of varying rank
  • Excellence in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Outlook, etc)
  • Travel: 25% to Sev1Tech and Government customer locations, as required
  • Security Clearance: Top Secret/SCI
