About The Position

The Warren County ESC is accepting applications for a full-time position for the 26/27 school year, that includes benefits, competitive compensation, a 195-day contract, and a five-day work week. This position will report to the Director of the Wellness Center. General Duties & Essential Functions: Knowledge of School Wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports. Knowledge of evidence-based practices in behavior supports for tier 1, tier 2, and tier 3 level students in the school environment. Implementation and oversight of individual functional behavior assessments (FBA) for Tier 3 students. Implementation and oversight of individual behavior intervention plans (BIP) for Tier 3 students. Knowledge of crisis management implementation including safety care de-escalation techniques and physical management. Monitoring of the fidelity of crisis management implementation and processes and procedures. This includes daily compliance review of restraint and seclusion forms and processes. Provides guidance and oversight to restraint and seclusion processes, procedures, and paperwork for the program. Leading the muti tiered systems of support programming for students with a focus on behavior. This includes organizing and implementing monthly Tier 2 and Tier 3 meetings. Evaluates and monitors progress of selected students in school behavior through observation and/or appropriate assessments. Behavior program consultation, coordination, and evaluation. Plans programs, coordinates curricula resources, and evaluations appropriateness of evidence-based practices for students and overall programming. Participates in the development of innovative instructional and behavioral intervention methods to meet the needs of the students. Maintains current knowledge of regulations and procedures related to programs and services for students. Attends all appropriate and related meetings. Maintains professional competence through participation in staff development activities as well as other activities as assigned by Director of Program. When needed will attend student wrap around meetings and IEP meetings. Facilitates and plans monthly PBIS Team Meetings, Leadership Team Meetings, and Classroom Collaboration Meetings. Facilitates and organizes student and staff recognition programs including but not limited to student of the month; classroom competitions; staff of the month. Will act as on-site building administrator in the absence of the building's administrator. This includes problem solving around both staff and student needs when applicable.

Requirements

  • Candidates must have three to five years of experience in the educational field or comparable experience working with individuals with mental health and or behavioral needs.

  • Master's Degree preferred.
