About The Position
The Program Specialist position serves as the Veterans Outreach Specialist for the VA New York Harbor Health Care System (VANYHHS). This role is responsible for working with Veterans' Service Organizations and other community stakeholders, providing specific information and comprehensive assistance to Veterans, their dependents, and beneficiaries concerning any matter within the scope of VA benefits. The position also involves representing VA New York Harbor at events and supporting the Communications & Outreach program.
