About The Position
The Program Specialist position at Elk Grove Unified School District involves assisting in the management of various educational programs, including Special Education, Title I, School Improvement Program (SIP), English Language Learners (ELL), Gifted and Talented Education (GATE), Indian Education, Tutoring Services, Adult Education, and Pre-kindergarten. The role requires coordination and implementation of student and family services, as well as support for student and staff placement and development. The Program Specialist will work under the direction of an assigned supervisor and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with state and federal laws, rules, and regulations related to these programs.
