About The Position

The Program Specialist for Special Education at Pinacate Middle School and Heritage High School is responsible for providing direct services to exceptional children, implementing behavior interventions, and ensuring compliance with special education discipline procedures. Requirements

• Master's Degree in a relevant field.
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification preferred.
• Prior experience in providing direct services to exceptional children.
• Detailed knowledge of learning disabilities, communication delays, physical impairments, autism, and emotional disturbances.
• Experience in teaching, counseling, or related fields, with some teaching experience preferred.
• Eligible to apply for or holds a valid California Administrative Services credential and appropriate teaching/certificated credentials.
