Requirements

• Minimum age of 16 years old.
• Any combination of education, training, volunteer or experience that provides the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
• Must possess a valid Nevada State driver's license/identification Credential or have the ability to obtain and maintain a satisfactory motor vehicle record.
• Must possess a Standard First Aid and CPR Certificate within two weeks of hire prior to performing the essential functions of the position.
• Must possess a Clark County Health Card (Food Handlers Card) within thirty (30) days of date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Independently carries out programs for both indoor and outdoor parks and recreation activities.
• Works directly with program participants in a physically active recreation program environment.
• Assists with parks and recreation program services in various assignments including early childhood, aquatics, golf course, sports (adult and youth), class instruction, seniors, mobile recreation, special events, safekey (before and after school - elementary youth), and day camp.
