As Rivian’s facilities expand across Southern California, we’re seeking a Program Specialist, Maintenance to take charge of the repair and maintenance for our world-class operations. This is a unique and impactful opportunity to join our team in Orange County, where you’ll be a key player in ensuring our state-of-the-art facilities run smoothly. We are looking for a highly organized, collaborative, and communicative leader to champion these critical programs and help drive our continued growth.

  • Maintain preventative maintenance programs for Orange County sites
  • Manage day to day building maintenance tasks
  • Respond to site operation emergencies [power outage, pipe burst, thermal event, etc] during and outside of business hours
  • Present monthly maintenance reports
  • Collaborate with the Sr Manager on budgets and forecasts
  • Partner with the Environmental Health and Safety team to ensure Orange County sites are code compliant
  • Train and supervise engineers to provide onsite support
  • Onboard and maintain vendor relationships
  • Responsible for completing service tickets for both preventive and corrective maintenance across all assigned sites
  • Responsible for the ongoing maintenance and repair of a variety of critical equipment, including mechanical systems (HVAC, boilers), electrical infrastructure (generators, transfer switches, and switchgear), fire detection and life safety systems, lighting, and building management systems.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in facilities management and workplace services
  • Project Management experience preferred
  • Proficient with Google Workspace and Bluebeam Revu
  • Experience working in similar industries (Tech, Automotive, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • A positive, collaborative attitude with immense attention to detail
  • A service-oriented personality, self-motivated, confident, energetic, and flexible
  • Ability to adapt quickly and change course when needed
