About The Position
The Department of Engineering Technology and Industrial Distribution is looking for a Program Specialist II to join the Thomas and Joan Read Center for Distribution Research and Education (Read Center). The Program Specialist II, under general supervision, provides support to manage the TJRC operations and events. Responsibilities will include office management, scheduling and promoting events and visits, facility management, TJRC partners management, and assisting with center planning and reporting while exercising discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance. The Read Center is the world’s only distribution research center on a university campus and the only center focused on wholesale distribution research and education in the nation. For over 60 years, the Read Center has worked with Industry Leaders and their corresponding projects to discover new ways of productivity and profitably addressing and serving marketplace needs. The Center collaborates with three branches: Continuing Education, Industry Consortia, and The Talent Incubator Program.
