About The Position

The position involves case management of nursing students enrolled in major concentration nursing programs. The role requires contacting members through various means, including telephone and in-person interactions, to provide one-on-one support in the admissions center and at various sites. The individual will inform members about academic and support services such as tutoring, licensure review, and employment placement. Additionally, the role includes managing ongoing education programs, facilitating member enrollment, coordinating logistics for classes, and advocating for work schedule adjustments for members attending college courses. Continuous improvement of existing education programs in collaboration with management is also a key responsibility. The position requires facilitating orientations and workshops for students, problem-solving members' issues, and serving as a liaison with stakeholders, including educational institutions. Data management, report generation, and ensuring member eligibility and adherence to academic standards are also part of the job. Additional duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, human/social service, healthcare or related fields required
  • Minimum two (2) years experience in adult education, training or workforce development required
  • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint preferred
  • Working knowledge in healthcare education programs and adult education preferred
  • Ability to maintain strong relationships with staff and stakeholders
  • Understanding of training or workforce development principles and best practices in case management
  • Ability to maintain confidential information and handle sensitive issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation and customer service skills
  • Detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends required

Responsibilities

  • Case management of nursing students enrolled in major concentration of nursing programs
  • Contact members via telephone and in-person, providing one-on-one support in admissions center and at various sites
  • Manage all aspects of ongoing education programs, including member enrollment and logistical organization of classes
  • Conduct continuous improvement of existing education programs in conjunction with management
  • Facilitate orientations and workshops for students via Webinar or in-person
  • Problem solve members’ issues and challenges, referring them to appropriate academic programs
  • Serve as a liaison with stakeholders including educational institutions
  • Enter, collect, and review student data, generating reports for stakeholders
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management
