About The Position

The Student Success Technology Specialist contributes to the mission of Shoreline Community College by administering and supporting the college's student success technologies, including the suite of advising, degree planning, case management, and early alert tools provided by the Starfish (EAB) platform and program mapping tools. Under the general supervision of the Director of Guided Pathways and Title III - SIP, the Specialist is responsible for assisting in the ongoing operations, maintenance, administration, end-user support, and use of these tools by the college's students, faculty, and staff. The SST Specialist will work closely with and may receive day-to-day task direction from the Starfish Business Analyst in collaboration with the Director of Guided Pathways. The Specialist also contributes to training and orientations, cultivates and shares expertise in technology-assisted student success practices, and collaborates across the college to ensure the effective use of available tools.
