About The Position

The Program Site Coordinator for the After School Program at Burlington Public Schools is responsible for supervising and managing the program at the school level. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulations, overseeing curriculum implementation, and maintaining effective communication with parents and staff. The coordinator will also manage recruitment, training, and administrative duties while ensuring the developmental needs of students are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum five years of experience working with school-age children.
• Familiarity with EEC regulations.
• Experience in faculty recruitment and screening preferred.
• Experience in developing children's program development and enrichment programs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the After School and Summer Programs at the school level.
• Ensure compliance with EEC regulations and Burlington Public Schools policies.
• Oversee the implementation of curriculum and ensure high-quality, age-appropriate activities.
• Ensure daily programs and schedules are effectively implemented and report back to the Directors.
• Meet the developmental needs of every student.
• Recruit and train teachers, assistants, and aides.
• Ensure student safety and follow emergency protocols.
• Maintain current enrollment and daily attendance records.
• Assist with staff and program evaluation and the annual registration process.
• Coordinate communication with parents of program participants.
• Participate in professional development, including trainings, meetings, and workshops.
• Maintain a cooperative relationship with school employees and work collaboratively for student needs.
• Work with directors to maintain the program budget.
