About The Position

Join us in our fast-paced support to the Space Development Agency (SDA). Recognized as the Department of Defense's constructive disruptor for space acquisition, SDA delivers space-based capabilities to the joint warfighter to support terrestrial missions through development, fielding, and operation of the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture. SDA capitalizes on a unique business model that values speed and lowers costs by harnessing commercial development to achieve a proliferated architecture and enhance resilience. We are seeking a Program Security Representative to support SDA’s mission.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • Top Secret clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility and willingness to take a CI if required
  • 5-10 years related experience required
  • Must have strong written and verbal communications skills and be willing to actively communicate with co-workers, program leadership, and clients, which may involve delivering presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily multi-discipline analysis for one or more of the client's SCI, SAP, and collateral activities.
  • Ensure strict adherence to the provisions of the NISPOM, its Supplement, the DoD Overprint, DCID, ICD, and SAP policy.
  • Assist in developing and executing approved policies and procedures for safeguarding SCI, SAP, and collateral data in support of US military operations, including Security Classification Guides.
  • Provide daily security support that includes continuous assessment of procedures to identify shortfalls and provide appropriate recommendations for revising and improving security policies, procedures, and systems; draft Standard Operation Procedures.
  • Identify vulnerabilities, threats, and risks to test, training, and operational activities.
  • Conduct Program Protection Plan reviews and coordination to ensure OPSEC protections for Critical Program Information.
  • Conduct and document SAP facility compliance reviews, follow-on facility reviews, and facility close-outs, and monitor, report and track all corrective actions resulting from compliance reviews.
  • Conduct exploration of any loss, compromise, or suspected compromise of classified and/or sensitive information, including conducting preliminary inquiries and generating damage assessments resulting from the loss of classified information.
