About The Position

This position requires Final Top Secret clearance within the last 5 years to start with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI/SAP access. The Security Representative Senior in Titusville, FL is responsible for supporting the security program and maintaining compliance with government regulations associated with the protection of classified material and sensitive information. Responsibilities include: -Develops, administers and audits security programs for compliance with government regulations associated with the protection of classified material and export controlled data. -Develops and executes security programs associated with the protection of proprietary information in compliance with corporate policies. -Performs in individual and team roles supporting all contractual security requirements for DOD collateral classified programs, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and/or Special Access Programs (SAP) programs. -Serves as Security Representative, Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO), and/or Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO). -Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company compliance and contract execution as set forth in DOD security rules (NISPOM), SAP security manuals (DODM), and/or SCI security regulations (ICD). -Works closely with U. S. Government customers to seek contract execution approvals and seeks security rulings or deviations. -Provides support in managing the quality, schedule and cost expectations associated with program development and execution, while maintaining the fundamental security requirements defined by the regulations, and establish procedures for handling, storing, keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to classified materials. -Supports multiple facets of security operations such as physical security, visitor control, document control, classification management, personnel security, security investigations, developing and delivering security briefings, risk identification/mitigation and other tasks as required. -Develops and conducts security education. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken. -Applies business-minded and risk-managed solutions to security issues and business challenges and communicates observations and recommendations to leadership and enterprise business partners. -Processes clearances and supports customer visits and classified meetings.

Requirements

  • Final Top Secret clearance within the last 5 years with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI/SAP Access.
  • Experience with DOD security rules (DoD 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM Rule), SAP security manuals (DODM), and/or SCI security regulations (ICD)
  • Program Security Rep (PSR), Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO), and/or Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) experience
  • Proven ability to work with multiple internal and external customers/agencies.
  • Demonstrated success with government inspections.

Nice To Haves

  • Management of Government Security program activities to include DD-254, personnel, and physical security program management.
  • In-depth knowledge of Government Security Databases (DISS, NISS, JADE, Scattered Castles, etc.)
  • Working knowledge and experience with SIMS, LM Space, and LM Corporate Security Tools.
  • Self-driven and results-oriented individual capable of effectively working multiple tasks concurrently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally.
  • Ability to effectively work both independently, with general direction, and in a team environment positively influencing the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization.
