Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Summer 2026 Program Security Intern. In this role, you will support DoD Industrial Security Programs in the Western Region, learn all aspects of security disciplines to include Personnel, Physical, and Program over the course of your internship, analyzing current security procedures and provide feedback for improvements, advising security leadership of trends, and develop best practices for tracking of security tools and metrics.

Requirements

  • Actively enrolled in Bachelor's degree from accredited university in Security Management, Homeland Security, Criminal Justice, or related security discipline.
  • Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.

  • Interest in learning about the protection of sensitive data and administering security requirements in the workplace.
  • Ability to create, prepare, and deliver security related briefings.
  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Self-starter, quick learner and able to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Local candidates preferred.
