MANTECH seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Program Security Assistant to join our team in Chantilly, VA. In this role, you will provide administrative and operational support to Government security officers, contributing directly to the execution of mission-critical security operations. You will help ensure smooth access processing, clearance coordination, and program support across security functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, or High School diploma/GED with 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Familiarity with personnel security processes, including documentation and handling of reportable information
  • Experience supporting program security in a customer service capacity
  • Knowledge of in-processing and out-processing tasks such as Account Action Process Requests, Badge Requests, Suite Access Requests, SCI indoctrinations/debriefings, and security briefings
  • Demonstrated experience interfacing with military, civilian, and contractor personnel at all levels
  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of Intelligence Community clearance processing procedures and associated databases
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience supporting SCI and SAPs across legacy and evolving programs
  • Familiarity with IC and DoD security policies, procedures, and operating instructions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and operate in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and discretion in handling sensitive personal information

Responsibilities

  • Process access requests ensuring proper security paperwork is prepared and submitted
  • Support resolution of access and clearance issues through research of NRO and community databases and updates to Government-managed systems
  • Maintain and update program security files and associated databases
  • Plan, organize, and implement procedures to protect government security records, including contractor security plans, contact files, classification guides, correspondence, and compartmented documentation
  • Provide ad hoc security support to large conferences and other program activities as directed by the Government PSO
  • Support daily document handling and couriering functions for both classified and unclassified materials in accordance with executive directives and orders
  • Domestic travel up to 25%
