About The Position

SAIC is a proud member of the Advance Battle Management System (ABMS) consortium in support of the Department of the Air Force's (DAF) mission objectives. A common objective we share with our Air Force customer is creating decision superiority by delivering relevant information and capabilities to warfighters and operators. This position represents a unique opportunity within SAIC's Air Force Business Group (BG) with multiple opportunities available to support our growing Portfolio, as well as working closely with mission partners across the defense industry. SAIC is seeking an experienced Master Scheduler in support of our United States Air Force customer. This next generation approach shall employ the latest advancements across the technology spectrum and distributed architectures to deliver a cutting-edge approach.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship and an active Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree and 15 years or more experience.
  • Develop a detailed, resource-loaded Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and present IMS data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Support program manager with schedule status reviews and schedule update meetings.
  • Lead schedule management and maintenance with no supervision.
  • Collect and analyze cost performance data reports; identify cost, schedule, and performance trends.
  • Conduct Critical Path Analysis.
  • Conduct Schedule Risk Analysis (SRAs).
  • Experience in submitting IMPR Format 6 is a must.
  • Experience with MS Project and Milestone Pro.
  • Earned Value Management experience.
  • Experience in baseline creation & monthly maintenance.
  • Support Monthly reviews/forecast updates.
  • Status updates using a variety of earned value techniques.
  • Integrate new WP & task according to new customer requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, Baseline, and maintain program execution schedule with program leads.
  • Ensure that schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across projects and functions.
  • Collect program status in a timely manner and report on a weekly basis.
  • Utilize Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances.
  • Suggest/create/implement methods to enhance cost and schedule performance.
  • Perform schedule risk analyses and identify and resolve critical path and network logic conflicts.
  • Provide scheduling information in support of the Project Kick-off Meeting and the Monthly Status Reports.
  • Prepare and submit IPMR Format 6 CDRL.
