Amentum is seeking an enthusiastic Program Scheduler to join the team in Annapolis Junction, MD. The Project Scheduler will be responsible for developing and managing schedules for all projects in the Annapolis Junction Office. This includes providing critical path analysis, identifying problem areas, and creating work-around solutions. The role also involves preparing and submitting monthly reports for internal and external clients, advising the team on matters affecting project success, schedule and cost impacts, and developing project recovery plans. The Program Scheduler will participate in project management teams to assist in meeting project deadlines, develop and maintain a change management program, and identify out of scope work items while assisting in creating change order requests to be presented to clients, including estimated cost and schedule impacts. Additionally, the role requires reviewing and recommending action on change order claims from subcontractors and consistently identifying potential project problems or opportunities in a proactive manner.

  • Developing and managing schedules for all projects in the Annapolis Junction Office.
  • Providing critical path analysis, identifying problem areas, and creating work-around solutions.
  • Preparing and submitting monthly reports for internal and external clients.
  • Advising the team on matters affecting project success, schedule and cost impacts, and developing project recovery plans.
  • Participating in project management teams to assist in meeting project deadlines.
  • Developing and maintaining a change management program.
  • Identifying out of scope work items and assisting in creating change order requests to be presented to clients, including estimated cost and schedule impacts.
  • Reviewing and recommending action on change order claims from subcontractors.
  • Consistently identifying potential project problems or opportunities in a proactive manner.
  • Interfacing with internal project teams and external clients.
  • Preferred - Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Construction Management and 5+ years of experience in the Construction Industry or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred - Scheduling Software Experience (ie. MS Project, Primavera P6, etc.)
  • Required - High Level of Computer Proficiency (ie. MS365 Suite)
