This program rep position supports the program manager and supervisor for VIRGINIA Class material in executing the material readiness and schedule recovery strategies for Blocks V and VI and supporting efforts to prepare for future Block VII work. This role is essential to improving material availability, strengthening material performance, and enabling cost and schedule efficient construction. As Electric Boat increases production volume to meeting Navy demand, timely delivery of sequence-critical material remains one of the most significant challenges affecting schedule performance. The program integration directorate working with the VCS program office, waterfront engineering, and supply chain leads the alignment of functional organizations and external partners in the Navy and supply chain to address these challenges. The program rep will play a key role in this mission by providing fact based insights, metrics, and cross-functional coordination. Position responsibilities include: Support development and execution of the VIRGINIA Class sequence critical material recovery plan Monitor and analyze supplier delivery performance, capacity constraints, and forecast demand Maintain accurate metrics Support root cause analysis on late or at risk material and support development and execution of action plans Collaborate with supply chain, engineering, planning, quality, the program offices, and other organizations to resolve issues Assists in integration of COLUMBIA and VIRGINIA demand Prepare briefing materials and performance updates for use in briefs to Electric Boat leadership and customers Supplier site visits in support of supply chain and engineering
