About Department 422 - Integrated Logistics Support Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) plans and directs the identification and development of logistics support and system requirements with the goal of creating systems that last longer and require less support, reducing life cycle cost and supporting systems that are operable, supportable, safe and environmentally sound. The D422 Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) organization supports all non-nuclear Electric Boat submarine programs. The six (6) discipline groups that comprise this department include: Software Safety, System Safety, Reliability Availability and Maintainability (RAM), Stowage, Obsolescence and Ship Specifications. Role Overview This position is for the Ship Specification group working in a design-build sustainment environment. This individual will work with multiple disciplines including cost engineering, contracts, and program offices for the configuration maintenance of the Ship Specifications. This individual will also interface with customer (NAVSEA) representatives as required. The individual will be responsible for ensuring the Ship Specifications and their associated Design and Construction contracts are aligned with the growing SSNX program.
