The Program Representative I enforces the laws and regulations governing auto repair and smog check and independently investigates consumer complaints. The PR I performs the full range of duties, as specified in the Bureau of Automotive Repair's (BAR) Enforcement Policies and Procedures Manual. This position may be limited term, extended up to 24 months, and/or become permanent. It may also be part-time or intermittent, with the possibility of increasing to full time. The incumbent is responsible for creating an inclusive, safe, and secure work environment that values diverse cultures, perspectives, and experiences, and is free from discrimination.
