JHNA Technology Security is currently seeking a Program Protection Security Analyst at the Journeyman level to support our government customer at NAS Patuxent River, MD. The successful candidate will be proficient and capable of executing duties pertaining to personnel security, physical security, and information security. This role involves implementing security processes necessary to protect classified information, with strict adherence to NISPOM, DoDM 5200.01 Vol. 1-3, DODI 5200.02, DoDI 5200.48, and other applicable Executive Orders and DoD regulations. The position will require routine interface with all levels of management and government customers, ensuring that security measures are effectively communicated and adhered to across the board. The Program Protection Security Analyst will be responsible for developing, implementing, and administering security plans, programs, and policies for program personnel and facilities. This includes managing Program Security requirements that encompass physical, information, and personnel matters. The analyst will maintain compliance with US Government security regulations and directives, participate in compliance assessment reviews, and perform self-inspections to ensure adherence to government and company regulations. Identifying deficiencies and recommending corrective actions will be a key part of the role. Daily responsibilities will include completing facility inspection checklists, managing door and safe combinations, and conducting clearance verifications via the DISS or NBIS. The analyst will also develop and implement Security Education and Training Awareness (SETA) programs specific to the needs of the Program Executive Office (PEO), conducting indoctrination briefings for newly assigned personnel on safeguarding program documentation and facility security policies. Additionally, the role involves preparing, reviewing, and submitting Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), DD-254s, and Statements of Work (SOW), coordinating with prime contractors, and reviewing sub-contracts to ensure security compliance with government regulations. The analyst will maintain a document and material accountability program, oversee secure storage and workspaces for customers and the company, and conduct annual inventories of accountable material. Ensuring that all classified materials held by the site comply with regulations governing marking, handling, controlling, transporting, sanitizing, reusing, and destroying classified information and equipment is crucial. The analyst will also resolve other related program security issues as required and undertake additional tasking as necessary.
