As a Program Project Manager, you'll join a collaborative team ensuring that our clients can deliver their services - uninterrupted. Based in Pompano Beach, FL you will be responsible for leading complex, cross-functional programs that support transportation operations across FDOT districts or statewide initiatives. This includes construction coordination, traffic and ITS operations, maintenance programs, facilities oversight, materials compliance, and public information efforts. The Program Project Manager role will focus on integrating these functions at a program level to align with FDOT's safety, mobility, and innovation goals.

  • Manage multi-project operational programs spanning Traffic Ops, Maintenance, Construction, Facilities, Materials, and ITS/Technology.
  • Lead coordination across FDOT offices, local agencies, and vendors to ensure efficient delivery of program outcomes.
  • Oversee integration of new technologies (e.g., connected vehicle infrastructure, signal system upgrades, asset management tools).
  • Collaborate with Public Information Officers (PIOs) to support outreach and communication.
  • Maintain compliance with FDOT policies, state and federal regulations, and agency standards.
  • Support performance reporting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, Transportation Planning, Public Administration, or related field.
  • PMP
  • 8-10 years in program/project management roles related to transportation or public infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated experience with FTE/FDOT operations, systems, and processes (e.g., PSEE, FM, RCI, Work Program).
  • Proven leadership across at least 3 of the following areas: traffic operations, ITS, construction, maintenance, materials, facilities, or public information.
  • PgMP, PE license, or FDOT-specific certifications
