About The Position

BAI, a defense contractor, is seeking a Program / Project Management Analyst with 3+ yeards of experience to support the NavTEC Integrated Product Team, at Naval Base Ventura County Naval Air Station Point Mugu California. The typical annual salary range for this position is $45,000.00 USD to $65,000.00 USD. Salary will be based on current qualifications, directly related experience, geographic location, and possible contractual requirements which could fall outside of this range.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience performing duties listed in the Functional Description
  • Experience working with senior government employees and senior contractor program managers, and technical leads
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) are essential
  • Ability to motivate staff, delegate tasks, and solve problems
  • BS or BA degree in Business Management or a relevant technical discipline
  • An additional 6 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree, or 4 additional years of work experience with a relevant associate degree. Between 3 and 10 years of experience performing the duties described in the functional description.
  • Condition of Employment: Applicant must have an active DoD Secret Clearance. The applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • The applicant must have US citizenship at the time of application.

Responsibilities

  • Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of NavTEC projects
  • Analyzes departmental budgets, and schedules
  • Performs business case analyses
  • Collects, completes, organizes, and interprets data relating to NavTEC projects and programs
  • Coordinates team meetings, manages calendars for senior staff, organizes events, and arranges travel
  • Manages the analytical and research activities supporting the organization's strategic short term and long range goal planning functions
  • Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management, and data management
  • 4/5/9 Compressed Work Schedule applies where alternate Fridays are not a part of the normal workweek
