About The Position

AVIAN is seeking a Program/Project/Management Analyst, Journeyman to provide program management and analytical support for Department of Defense acquisition programs. The selected candidate will assist with data analysis, reporting, and program tracking activities to support execution across the program lifecycle while ensuring compliance with Department of Defense and Department of the Navy policies and procedures. The Program/Project/Management Analyst will work closely with Government leadership and program personnel to support program planning, execution, and reporting activities across all phases of acquisition. This position requires a motivated self-starter who is detail-oriented and capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced acquisition environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from an accredited college or university
  • Three (3) to ten (10) years of experience performing program management, acquisition, or analytical support duties
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to analyze program status, schedules, and budgets
  • Strong organizational and data management skills
  • Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
  • Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

  • At least one (1) year supporting NAVAIR program management, technical, or business analysis disciplines
  • Experience supporting DoD acquisition lifecycle management
  • Experience supporting aircraft or weapons system programs
  • Familiarity with Integrated Product Team (IPT) environments
  • Experience supporting schedule, budget, and program tracking activities

Responsibilities

  • Provide program management and analytical support for DoD acquisition programs
  • Use analytical approaches to help evaluate program and project goals
  • Review program requirements, status, budgets, and schedules
  • Support the development and upkeep of program schedules and tracking tools
  • Gather, organize, and interpret program data related to aircraft, weapons, and acquisition efforts
  • Track program and project status, milestones, and deliverables
  • Assist in preparing program briefs, reports, and documentation
  • Contribute to management, technical, and business-related analyses
  • Support activities across all phases of the program lifecycle
  • Assist with program planning, execution, and reporting
  • Coordinate with Government leadership and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
  • Help ensure alignment with DoD and Department of the Navy policies
  • Maintain program documentation and track action items
