Program Planning & Control Analyst

This role is in Textron System's Sea Systems business area. We believe people should love what they do - in this role, you will be responsible for providing program support and work closely with Program Managers and Sr. Program Managers. This position can be a feeder into the Program Manager career track or other areas such as Finance, Contracts, Business Development, etc.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain program schedules with guidance from the Principal/Manager, Program Planning & Scheduling.
• Serve as a cross-departmental and cross-organizational conduit for information, job tasks, and material flow.
• Develop, update, and maintain schedule performance metrics, related processes, and management tools within the business units, including, but not limited to, critical path analysis and schedule risk assessment.
• Support program managers with coordinating activities of various internal departments to ensure project goals for cost, schedule and scope are maintained.
• Perform Control Account Manager duties on schedule and cost performance, forecasts, and risks.
• Identifies, negotiates, and resolves conflicts between the stakeholders during execution of the program, including Procurement, Integrated Supply Chain, and the Customer.
• Participates in and supports preparation of customer and internal reviews and prepares CAMs for schedule surveillance/audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a business, engineering, or any related field
• 2 years of relevant experience
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills
• Ability to gather, analyze and summarize data to develop appropriate actions
• Strong negotiating and interpersonal relations skills
