The Program Planning Analyst at Ford Motor Company is a critical role focused on leading the financial planning and execution of engineering projects. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Engineering required.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive and proactive attitude, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with complex formulas and data analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and effectively utilize new software systems, including Ford Corporate Systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and assignments concurrently, while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Commitment to high ethical standards and integrity.
  • Strong customer service orientation, dedicated to providing exceptional support and exceeding expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation of new financial projects.
  • Identify waste and opportunities to modernize business practices in the Program Financial Control team.
  • Manage the movement of funds between line items to optimize project implementation and ensure timely execution.
  • Conduct thorough audits of all spending requisitions to ensure accuracy and strict adherence to Ford Finance Manual rules and guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with Plant Finance to effectively manage and track capital assets assigned to plants.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to engineering teams on financial processes, best practices, and company guidelines.
  • Foster strong working relationships and effective communication with cross-functional stakeholders, including Process Engineers, Supervisors, Managers, Program Leaders, Manufacturing Finance, Property Accounting, and India Project Control.
