  • Support the HQ Communications lead in developing and finalizing the specific marketing strategies.
  • Create and implement strategies to identify and secure task orders under the current CNS Y-12 contract vehicle, aligning with organizational objectives and client needs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key CNS/Y-12 clients, partners, and stakeholders to promote program capabilities, identify opportunities, and enhance visibility within the target domain.
  • Collaborate with business development, technical teams, and proposal managers to develop and implement capture strategies that align with client needs and the contract vehicle's scope.
  • Assist Contracts/Proposals with Task Proposals and Award processing.
  • Provide post-award Program/Project Management. Oversee the successful execution of awarded task orders by managing deliverables, budgets, timelines, resources, and client expectations.
  • Conduct Market Research and Opportunity Mapping.
  • Collaborate with the Curie-US Disintegration MELE Program Leads to develop and share strategic messaging that aligns with program objectives and communicates key information to stakeholders.
  • Assist with Office of Radiological Security (ORS) and OPX partnerships and other ad hoc efforts as assigned by the MELE Contract Manager and Team Leads.
  • Assist NA-84 Program Analyst with continued development of Rail Sector work including long-term planning, preliminary site surveys, and operational intelligence collection.
  • Organize and structure data sets in a visually appealing format that is easy to search and navigate.
  • Analyze spending trends and forecast future expenditures.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of MELE programmatic operations by assisting the NEST Reserve Core (RC) Contract Manager in day-to-day business operations.
  • Assist in leading and managing task orders, ensuring compliance with contract terms, deadlines, and budgets while overseeing contract execution and performance improvement.
  • Support the development and implementation of efficient business operations and systems for federal contracts, identifying opportunities to enhance productivity and address business development needs.
  • Provide guidance on work processes, staffing, and resource management, including support for hiring, terminations, and overall operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Project Coordinators/Program Managers to conduct program analyses, reviews, and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
  • Contribute technical input to proposal development, review deliverables, and work with leadership and the Proposals Team to identify new business opportunities.
  • Establish, track, and report on business development metrics and performance, providing quarterly results.
  • Assist in implementing innovative practices to improve operations, contract performance, and resource utilization, and contribute to long-term strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with the MELE leadership team to observe and develop an understanding of MELE's internal processes, objectives, and business practices, with the goal of enhancing client relationship management and business development skills.

  • Bachelors (or higher) degree with major or specialization in related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail, strong follow-through, and the ability to solve problems independently with minimal disruption to activities.
  • Outstanding team player able to work with a diverse group of people stationed in different geographic locations.

  • Works well with short turnaround deadlines in fast paced office environment and is adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of all Microsoft Office tools and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • DOE Q security clearance.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Federal Government contract management.
  • Five (5) years of progressive experience in an office environment.
  • Ability to prepare management, business, technical, and personnel reports, reviews and documents for internal and external use.
