Within our global environment, the Program Performance Management Specialist (Sr PPM Spec) provides contract/program cost and/or schedule management and analysis for new and mature programs typically valued up to $10M per year. As an individual contributor taking direction from a manager or team lead, you’ll develop the program time-phased cost and/or schedule baseline within the contract parameters in conjunction with the program team along with analyzing program performance (historical and predictive), monitor the contract/program Estimate at Complete and/or schedule completion date, and make recommendations to program manager and program leads.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus a minimum of 2 years relevant experience; or a Master's degree.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, to include Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Earned Value Management (EVM), Program Performance Management (PPM), or scheduling tool knowledge is required; solid knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles.
  • Highly proficient organizational, analysis, and time management skills, attention to detail and accuracy, and ability to multi-task high priorities.
  • Experience in coordination of program requirements across planning stages with multiple subcontractors.
  • Domain knowledge in program and/or product life cycle and financial processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide contract/program cost and/or schedule management and analysis related to established or new development programs for major component or small system, or production or logistics programs.
  • Develop the program cost and/or schedule baseline within the contract parameters in conjunction with the program team.
  • Analyze program performance (historical and predictive) and monitor the contract/program Estimate at Complete and schedule completion date.
  • Make recommendations to program manager and program leads.
  • Develop the time-phased budget in conjunction with program team to meet all contract and program objectives.
  • Collect and update full program performance data, prepare and analyze historical and predictive measures, and review results and recommendations with program manager and program leads.
  • Integrate subcontractor cost and/or schedule data and/or material data into program data.
  • Ensure program schedules are horizontally and vertically integrated and resolve network logic conflicts.
  • Apply advanced schedule techniques and analysis (health and quality checks, resource loading, risk analysis).
  • Analyze critical path and driving paths to identify and manage schedule risk.
  • Prepare timely, accurate program review documents and present documents to appropriate audience.
  • Prepare timely, accurate customer required documents and review with program manager and department manager.
  • Coordinate contract/program Estimate At Complete (EAC), risk and opportunity, and Management Reserve data with Finance organization as input into business financial commitments.
  • Update program time-phased budget and/or schedule and associated documents to ensure latest contract modifications and related requirements are incorporated.
  • Apply key areas of the Program Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) to develop executable processes for supported programs and lead program teams in their implementation.
  • Define requirements to solve common business problems.
