This position is eligible for telework, which is currently one day per week. New hires are eligible to 30 days after their effective date of hire. Join the team responsible for developing and overseeing the MTA's Capital Program. Analysts will play a pivotal role in managing and administering the assigned portions of the Division's three principal areas -- Capital Program Reporting, Data Management, and Capital Program Performance -- related to the MTA's capital program for the MTA's various operating agencies. Recommendations are made to the area's Manager on activities supporting the Division's capital program oversight mission, enabling the MTA to plan and implement long- and short-term projects in a cost-effective and timely manner, and adherence to MTA Capital Program policies, guidelines, and objectives. In a matrix structure, these positions are responsible for implementing the ongoing processes, systems, analyses, and reports to support the development and oversight of MTA's various five-year capital programs launched since 1982, as well as supporting ad-hoc activities as may arise. Such work may be cross-functional or cross-agency in nature. The value of such work varies depending on the area. For reference, the MTA's current approved 2025-2029 Capital Program is budgeted at approximately $68.4 billion.
