Collins Aerospace in Windsor Locks, CT, is seeking an experienced Program Operations Manager to run Integrated Product Teams focused on procurement, assembly, test and shipment of flight rated space hardware. ISR & Space Systems Windsor Locks is looking for energetic and highly motivated candidates for its Manufacturing Operations organization. The position is the focal point for the execution of daily activities to deliver high quality, highly engineered development and production hardware on-time to its customers. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading the Manufacturing team in tasks ranging from requirement planning through the manufacturing and shipment of deliverables. Applicants must exhibit a high degree of initiative and sound judgement, working independently and as a member of the Integrated Product Team. It is essential the individual be capable of adapting to changing conditions and work cooperatively in a team environment. The candidate will drive the execution of operation responsibilities on the program while meeting both internal and external customer expectations. Direct communication with customers will be required, including daily tag up and weekly and quarterly meetings. This position requires strong interpersonal and communications skills (both verbal and written) and the ability to lead and work as a cross-functional team member.
