There are still lots of open positions. Let's find the one that's right for you.
World Wildlife Fund (WWF), one of the world's leading conservation organizations, seeks a Program Officer (PO), US Corporate Climate Engagement, to join the team in our Washington, DC office. With guidance and support from the Deputy Director, Corporate Climate Engagement, the PO supports key initiatives, including over two dozen corporate climate partnerships and the WWF Climate Business Network, through which we work with businesses and their supply chains to accelerate climate action. This includes helping companies set and implement science-based targets, navigate the complexities of greenhouse gas accounting and climate-related standards, and publicly support the transition to a low-carbon future. The Program Officer, Corporate Climate Engagement, with the support of the Deputy Director, will engage corporate climate partners and support programming for the Climate Business Network, as well as participate in the Corporate Climate Engagement team's broader work on the transition to a net-zero economy. The Program Officer will bring and further develop subject matter expertise in carbon accounting (i.e. Greenhouse Gas Protocol), corporate climate mitigation, and the voluntary carbon credit/environmental attribute certificate markets. The Program Officer will support project management, partner relationship management, and WWF-US' work on science-based targets and greenhouse gas accounting. This is a hybrid position that requires a minimum of two days a week (Tuesday and Thursday) in the WWF Washington, DC headquarters office. To be considered for further review for the position, a cover letter is required.
