About The Position

Could you be our next Program Nurse at our Outpatient Center in Broomall, PA? Why work as a Program Nurse with Main Line Health? Make an Impact! The Program Nurse serves as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team conducting solution focused groups and contributing to the treatment plan. She/He performs the Nursing Assessment within 24 hours of admission, and will make any medically necessary referrals or follow-up with any needed medical case management issues. The Program Nurse re-assesses all patients after 14 days. Additionally, the program Nurse is able to perform the initial screening interview (Level of Care Diagnostic) to determine if a patient meets criteria for the Partial Hospital Program. The Program Nurse performs these functions with Adolescents, Adults, and Older Adults. Develop and Grow your Career! Requirements

  • Previous experience providing group therapy to adults, adolescents, and older adults, that includes experience in clinical assessment and evaluating or screening.
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing. A current RN license to practice in Pennsylvania.
  • Annual training in MAAP and Crisis Prevention Intervention.
  • Required to have current certification in CardioPulmonary Resuscitation.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a Psychiatric Day Treatment or Psychiatric Inpatient setting is preferred.
