Lead Design for Manufacturability (DFM) by integrating manufacturing requirements into vehicle development, guiding the team in providing critical feedback to optimize designs for lean, assembly-friendly, and efficient production that adheres to Global manufacturing standards. Oversee the analysis of Manufacturing Key Process Indicators (KPIs) and lead the implementation of corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and product quality. Guide the identification of potential process risks, direct the development and implementation of preventive measures, and lead the team in resolving complex technical manufacturing challenges. Support and facilitate technology adoption and implementation, advanced manufacturing methods, and ensure the effective utilization of virtual tools for process simulation, validation, and optimization. Lead cross-functional alignment with multi-functional groups (i.e., Product Development, Material Planning & Logistics, Assembly Plant) to ensure manufacturability, quality, and cost-effective production methods. Oversee program financial targets for Facility, Tooling and Labor to ensure program financial targets are met. Foster Continuous Improvement by leading the evaluation of "Lessons Learned" from new model launches, direct the implementation of "Prevent Reoccurrence Actions" into future programs, and guide competitive vehicle analysis to inform strategic design and process improvements. Team Leadership & Development: Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to a team of manufacturing engineers, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous learning.
