About The Position

The Program Manager plans, implements, and evaluates all program policies and procedures. The Program Manager recruits, trains, and evaluates employees on a routine basis. The Program Manager will be responsible for reviewing referral packets, assessing the consumer, and coordinating with consumer's counselor at the local Regional Center. The program manager will work closely with the family members of clients to guide and support them with People's Care, Inc. services while maintaining documentation and assisting with community outreach to market the program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work or a related human services field.
  • 3 - 5 years of supervisory experience with supervising 5 - 30 employees
  • Must have First Aid / CPR and CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have a California Driver’s License
  • Candidate must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including but not limited to a background check.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains a healthy and safe work environment for all staff and clients. This is to include having monthly safety meetings, maintaining a safe and clean environment. Ensures that client rights are adhered to at all times and client rights are read to them every year. Provides written verification that the rights are read to the consumers each year must be maintained
  • Reviews and evaluates plans, manuals, policies and procedures while conducting field visits to monitor quality assurance in the programs
  • Responsible for recruiting, training, and scheduling staff
  • Provides in- service meetings/trainings in accordance with Title 17, Title 22, Regional Center contracts, facility program design, and individual program plans and participates in trainings, including New Hire Orientation
  • Maintains client files and facility file(s) as specified in California Code of Regulations (CCR), Title 17 Chapter 3, Subchapter 4, §56728 and §56730
  • Acts as a liaison with regulatory and non-regulatory agencies such as the Regional Centers, IHSS, Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS), Developmental Centers and Department of Education, and the community
  • Maintains on-going resident ID notes, reads staff ID notes on every client every day, prepares and submits semi-annual and annual progress reports in accordance with CCR Title 17, Chapter 3, Subchapter 4 §56720
  • Participates in Individual Program Plan, Transition and Interdisciplinary (ID) team meetings
  • Obtains medical and dental evaluations, emergency care, and follow physician's orders for consumers, as needed.
  • Audits all internal programs daily. This includes but is not limited to employee time keeping.
  • Maintains all required company documents to include but not limited to consultant logs, maintenance logs, vehicle logs etc.
  • Is familiar with profit and loss reports while managing all financial costs associated with program. Some examples would be: program supplies, utilities, labor, etc.
