About The Position

The Program Manager is responsible for ensuring that program staff implements and executes impactful youth development programs. In the absence of the Branch Director, the Program Manager is responsible for Clubhouse Operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Education, or Social Sciences, and a minimum of 1 year experience in youth development programs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent personal and professional leadership skills.
  • Ability to remain professional and composed under pressure.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software programs.
  • Must possess a sincere interest in children, maturity, self-control, and sound judgment.
  • Must have knowledge of positive youth development and positive behavior management skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve and resolve issues independently and as a team.
  • Must possess high energy and time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning and distributing all programs, including daily activities.
  • Responsible for publishing weekly and monthly program calendars.
  • Ensures Youth Development Professionals are prepared to implement programs outlined in curricula and activity plans.
  • Works closely with the Director of Training and Teen Services to ensure all training associated with annual programming is aligned with the program calendar, grants requirements and is executed in a timely and effective manner.
  • Assist with parents, volunteers, and the local community communication.
  • Assist with promoting and stimulating Club membership and daily attendance through community outreach and relationship building.
  • Assist the Branch Director with maintaining and operating the Club according to organizational standards.
  • Expected to provide positive, informal guidance and mentoring for youth and staff.
  • Acts as the secondary manager during Branch Director's absence.
  • Performs other duties or tasks that may be assigned.
